Our stay at Red Palm was lovely. We were a bit concerned because there were no other reviews to read when we initially booked our stay. We couldn’t have been more delighted and pleased upon arriving. It was even nicer than we had anticipated! Red Palm is brand new. The design is very modern, stylish, and hip. All the furnishings and art were thoughtfully selected and placed. It is clear the hosts have a posh aesthetic. One of the things we appreciated the most was how clean the unit and the grounds were. Everything was meticulously clean. The shower design was very attractive and created the sense of being in a spa. In addition, there was a sense of spaciousness both inside the unit, as well as on the surrounding grounds. The pool was fabulous: clean and just the right depth and size. The waterfall cascade, which was a part of the pool, created a zen-like atmosphere. Astrid and Mily were wonderful hosts! They were attentive and anticipated our every need. Staying at Red Palm, was by far, our best Airbnb experience. Simply put, if it were possible to give more than 5 stars to rate Red Palm, we would! As one of their first guests, we were a bit worried as to what the place was going to be like (since there were no reviews). Thank God we took a chance and booked. This was, by far, one of the nicest, cleanest, warmest and best places we’ve stayed in, in all our travels. Red Palm is a completely new and stylish complex with three units (the pictures alone will make your friends jealous). The outdoor pool is cute and perfect! There is a great, brand new BBQ on the property, and an outdoor shower for after the beach or before the pool. Inside our unit, from bedding to towels, everything was plush, hand picked and well thought of. Clearly the owners are well travelled and payed attention to every little detail for their guests. There were even beach chairs, coolers and beach towels provided! The proximity to the beach is exactly what you want (under 1 minute walking). You couldn’t ask for a better location! Everything is walking distance, from bars, restaurants, and surf shops. However, we recommend having a car while in Rincon, to fully experience the town. The beach by Red Palm is one of the nicest beaches, clear waters, great sand, perfect for surfing and lounging. Red Palm is also nearby (1 min) a well known bar called Tamboo, which has delicious drinks and food, which you can eat facing the ocean. Amazing deck and live music in the evenings. The good news is that you are far enough from the music that it won’t bother you if you want to turn in early. If you surf…you know what we mean! Mily and Astrid have been incredible hosts. They have made our stay that much better through their great recommendations, and have been in contact with us throughout our trip whenever we needed anything. They are reliable and fun. We are extremely lucky to have found the best hosts and the best accommodation a traveler can ask for! We will visit again and will recommend to all our friends and family. Wonderful place to stay–pool was awesome–just a few steps to the beach and walking distance to restaurants–all the amenities. What a great place. An excellent surprise and can’t say enough about Red Palm and Rincon. Added to our favorites now. We stayed there in November and was totally impressed. Astrid and Mily pay attention to detail as everything was perfect. If you get a chance read my review on Trip Advisor. This boutique hotel is the best one we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many over the years. Trying to pinpoint the best part but it was all great. No flaws. We did enjoy the sexy Pool with the waterfall. It was always kept clean and spotless. as were the grounds and landscaping. I tried to find a flaw but couldn’t.
